Director, Product Management

You are being invited to join the Machine Learning Experience (MLX) team at Capital One India as a Director, Product Management. The MLX team is dedicated to building and deploying responsible ML models and features, educating associates on ML platforms, driving innovation, and seamlessly integrating AI and ML into the companys operations to deliver next-generation products and services. As a Director, Product Management, your responsibilities will include: - Developing and communicating the product vision and strategy for your area of responsibility - Understanding the needs of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and model risk officers across Capital One - Collaborating with business and technology leadership to prioritize key business problems - Working closely with teams in India and the USA to ensure alignment - Using design thinking and analytics to inform product design - Leading a team of product managers and supporting them in agile ceremonies - Serving as the connection between customers, Capital Ones mission, and your team Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to product vision and strategy - Understand and address the needs of data scientists, ML engineers, and model risk officers - Collaborate with business and tech leadership to prioritize key problems - Work with teams in India and the USA to ensure alignment - Incorporate design thinking and analytics into product design - Lead a team of product managers - Support team with issue resolution and impediment escalation - Bridge the gap between customers, company mission, and your team Qualifications Required: - Bachelors Degree - Minimum 10 years of product management experience or 12 years of business analysis/data science experience - Minimum 2 years of people leadership experience leading product manager teams If you join us, you will: - Build lasting relationships with peers while creating customer-centric products - Collaborate across teams to solve customer challenges - Quickly adapt to a technical environment - Develop a well-rounded product management skill set - Have experience in Agile methodologies - Demonstrate strategic thinking and excellent communication skills - Be collaborative, influential, and a strong leader Capital One India offers a fast-paced and intellectually stimulating environment where you can leverage advanced analytics, data science, and machine learning to solve business problems at scale.
