Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for F&A operations, aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Provide visionary leadership to the F&A team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation, digital transformation, and efficiency gains across F&A functions.
  • F&A Operations Management:

  • Oversee end-to-end F&A processes, including

    record-to-report (R2R), procure-to-pay (P2P), order-to-cash (O2C), tax compliance, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A)

    .
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial regulations, and global accounting standards (e.g.,

    IFRS, GAAP

    ).
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Process Optimization & Transformation:

  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices in financial operations, leveraging technology solutions like

    ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)

    and automation tools (e.g.,

    RPA, AI in Finance

    ).
  • Lead change management efforts during process transformations, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder alignment.
  • Talent Development & Team Leadership:

  • Build, develop, and mentor high-performing F&A teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to managers and staff, promoting skill development and knowledge sharing.
  • Establish performance metrics, conduct regular performance reviews, and recognize contributions to business success.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Governance:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, operations, and senior leadership, to align F&A strategies with business priorities.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and third-party service providers.
  • Ensure robust governance, risk management, and compliance processes within F&A operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g.,

    CPA, CMA, CA, ACCA

    ) are highly preferred.
  • Experience:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounting operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing large F&A teams, driving process improvements, and leading finance transformation initiatives.
  • Strong background in financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, and global finance operations.
  • Skills:

  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Expertise in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) and automation tools (e.g., RPA, AI-powered finance solutions).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
