Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for F&A operations, aligning with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Lead the F&A operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation.
  • Drive process standardization, automation, and digitization initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Operational Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day F&A activities, including

    Record to Report (R2R)

    ,

    Order to Cash (O2C)

    ,

    Procure to Pay (P2P)

    , and

    Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

    processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
  • Manage end-to-end process governance, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality of financial data.
  • Process Optimization & Transformation:

  • Lead F&A transformation projects, including system implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle), process reengineering, and technology adoption.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and automation through tools like

    RPA (Robotic Process Automation)

    and

    AI-driven analytics

    .
  • Drive the adoption of

    Finance Digitalization

    strategies to improve decision-making and reporting capabilities.
  • Financial Governance & Compliance:

  • Ensure robust financial controls, risk management practices, and compliance with corporate policies and external regulations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to track operational performance and drive accountability.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion of audit requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management:

  • Build strong relationships with business leaders, finance partners, and external stakeholders to support strategic objectives.
  • Provide thought leadership and strategic insights to senior management on finance operations and performance.
  • Act as a key advisor for finance-related projects, initiatives, and business decisions.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Finance & Accounting Expertise:

  • Deep knowledge of F&A processes, including

    R2R, O2C, P2P, FP&A

    , and

    taxation

    .
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (e.g.,

    GAAP, IFRS

    ), internal controls, and audit requirements.
  • Leadership & Management Skills:

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams across geographies.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing large-scale F&A transformations.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive change initiatives effectively.
  • Technology & Digital Skills:

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g.,

    SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Financial Services, Microsoft Dynamics

    ).
  • Knowledge of automation tools (e.g.,

    UiPath, Blue Prism

    ) and data analytics platforms (e.g.,

    Power BI, Tableau

    ).
  • Familiarity with finance transformation frameworks and digital finance strategies.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Critical thinking and decision-making capabilities, particularly in high-pressure environments.
  • Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in

    Accounting, Finance, Business Administration

    , or a related field.
  • Professional certifications like

    CPA, CA, CMA, or ACCA

    are preferred.
  • Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing F&A transformations, process improvements, and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in working with global finance operations and multi-cultural teams is a plus.
