Job Description

As a Sales Manager in our hotel, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies across all market segments to maximize hotel revenue. You will collaborate closely with the General Manager to ensure that sales strategies are aligned with the hotel's vision and objectives. Your role will involve leading our efforts to dominate the business and luxury travel markets in the region. To excel in this position, you will conduct periodic reviews of channel pricing to ensure alignment with our hotel's strategy and market demand. You will also analyze the effectiveness of packages and promotions to optimize room utilization and revenue. Working alongside the Catering Sales and Revenue Management teams, you will create annual pricing guidelines and action plans. Key responsibilities include identifying and nurturing key accounts through effective retention and acquisition strategies. You will partner with field teams to facilitate targeted client interactions and ensure seamless coordination between client requirements and various hotel departments. Your proactive engagement and personalized service will aim to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty. Moreover, you will be instrumental in establishing department SOPs and ensuring compliance through regular reviews and team briefings. Your role will involve recruiting, training, and developing Sales personnel, setting clear KRAs, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team. Recognizing and addressing training needs will be essential to maintaining high efficiency levels within the department. Furthermore, you will oversee media and social visibility efforts to enhance the hotel's market presence. Keeping a close eye on competitor activities and market trends will enable you to make strategic adjustments for sustained success. Additionally, you will facilitate post-event feedback mechanisms like TrustYou to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
