Director of Career Services

You will be responsible for leading as the Director of Career Guidance & Development Centre, bringing your extensive experience of over 15-20 years in campus placements, corporate engagement, strategic academic-industry partnerships, and a strong passion for career guidance with a student-centric approach. Your role will be crucial in shaping the career paths of students in Engineering, Management, Law & Liberal Studies disciplines. Your main responsibilities will include efficiently managing a team of Career Guidance & Development Centre(CGDC) members and student body to ensure the successful delivery of targets within specified timelines. You will be tasked with developing and implementing a comprehensive university placement roadmap aligned with industry needs, ensuring maximum placement outcomes for graduating students, overseeing placement metrics with an analytical approach, and building lasting partnerships with various corporations, law firms, consulting companies, PSUs, and multinationals. Moreover, you will need to collaborate with faculty, training vendors, and curriculum design teams to bridge skill gaps and ensure students are industry-ready, lead employability initiatives, provide mentorship and career coaching to students, and organize corporate summits, industry dialogues, and branding events. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining operational excellence in placement practices, supervising the CGDC team, and monitoring key performance indicators for continuous improvement. To qualify for this role, you should have a Postgraduate degree in Management / Engineering / Law / Human Resources or a related field, along with a proven track record of leadership, corporate networking, and student success in multidisciplinary education ecosystems. Strong communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and strategic planning skills, as well as a visionary and influential leadership style, are essential attributes for this position.,
