As a Director of Artificial Intelligence (AI Technical Fellow) in our organization based in India, your primary role will be to lead the development and integration of cutting-edge generative AI capabilities into our solutions. You will be responsible for driving the long-term AI strategy, focusing on product development, platform architecture, and building a world-class AI group. Your deep technical expertise in artificial intelligence, specifically in generative AI and video-language models, along with your proven experience in leading global teams, will be crucial in translating advanced AI concepts into scalable and high-impact products and platforms. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead strategic development in advanced AI areas such as generative modeling, video-language models, and large-scale multimodal systems. - Architect and guide the design of AI platforms integrating video, text, and audio understanding. - Mentor and provide technical oversight to global AI teams, ensuring alignment of research innovation with business objectives. - Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science leadership to operationalize cutting-edge research into production-grade AI products. - Drive partnerships with academic and industry institutions to shape the organizations thought leadership in AI and emerging technologies. - Define long-term AI technical vision and roadmap, influencing company-wide engineering decisions and strategic investments in AI infrastructure. **Qualifications Required:** - Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related technical field. - 12+ years of experience in AI engineering, product development, and leadership in globally distributed teams. - Proven record of building and scaling AI-powered platforms and products using generative AI and multimodal models. - Deep expertise in machine learning and AI algorithms, particularly in generative AI and multimodal systems. - Strong proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. - Demonstrated ability to bridge research and production, with hands-on experience in training and deploying large AI systems. - Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
