Role Overview: As a Regulatory Operations Manager at Standard Chartered in Mumbai, your role involves reviewing Regulatory Circulars and Policies pertaining to Client Management Framework (CMF), ensuring end-to-end implementation of RBI Circulars and Policies, handling RBI submissions, audits, and audit queries. You will also be responsible for handling EUCs and other regulatory reportings, reviewing processes of Account Opening, eCDD, Reg reporting, CRC related activities, and coordinating with all relevant stakeholders. Managing the country Enablement team for proper KCSA/CST processes, SLAs, ASTAR, operational risk management, audit & regulatory engagements, etc. will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be expected to make appropriate and timely escalations and embed risk management, governance, and reporting best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Own regulatory and audit requests related to Client Management areas - Maintain good working relationships with various Business Units, Finance, Risk, Technology, and Operations community - Ensure all credit fulfilment activities are performed on time and to agreed standards - Oversee the Key Control Self-Assessment (KCSA) / Control Standard Test (CST) process - Review operational risk reports and follow-up on progress/action plans - Manage audit and regulatory inquiries, ensuring adherence to audit and regulatory engagement standards - Maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and coordinate any changes in SLAs - Ensure relevant country regulatory nuances are incorporated into Client Management processes - Manage financials, headcount, and hiring of the Client Management in-country team Qualifications: - Experience in managing individuals/teams - Ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders - Sound knowledge of local regulations, risk management, and audit functions - Proficient in MS Excel About Standard Chartered: Standard Chartered is an international bank with a purpose to drive commerce and prosperity through its unique diversity.
