Director, Customer Engineering, India, Google Cloud

Role Overview: As a Director, Customer Engineering at Google Cloud in India, your primary responsibility is to act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them maximize the business potential of Google Cloud. You will set the Customer Engineering strategy for the region, address critical technical issues, collaborate with various teams, and drive customer transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a team of Customer Engineers to engage with customers, evaluate requirements, deliver demonstrations, design technical architectures, resolve challenges, and oversee implementation and operations. - Manage the Customer Engineering team to achieve quarterly and annual bookings targets, engage with customers directly, participate in key deals, ensure operational accuracy, and conduct technical reviews with teams. - Oversee all technical sales activities, manage customer deployment and operations, and coordinate technical resources effectively to deliver innovative solutions. - Enable and expand channel partners for technical sales, customer deployment, and operations. Prepare and deliver product messaging, provide expert advice on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Proven experience in a leadership role within the technical sales or customer engineering domain. - Strong understanding of cloud technologies, enterprise architectures, and customer requirements. - Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. - Ability to drive digital transformation, foster growth, and address business challenges through innovative technical solutions and partnerships.,
