Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for active sales and generating new business.
  • Closing new orders independently.
  • Maintaining leadership position in the Indian & South Asia market.
  • Responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, operations, and performance of the company in India.
  • Develop business plans and strategies.
  • Advise the board of directors on strategic issues.
  • Build and lead a strong team.
  • Active involvement in developing sub – vendors to source parts of the equipment locally, to reduce costs.
  • Developing and executing the company’s business strategies.
  • Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities.
  • Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are followed at all times.
  • Communicate and maintain trust relationships with stakeholders, business partners and authorities.
  • Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of executives providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance.
  • Capable of foraying into new markets such as the Middle East & Africa.
  • Experience in Manufacturing is an added qualification.
  • Act as the public speaker and public relations representative of the company in ways that strengthen its profile.
  • Analyse problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company growth.


Requirements:


  • Minimum qualification: Engineering graduate from a reputed university.
  • Work experience in German Companies will be highly preferred.
  • Over 10 years of experience in a leadership role in capital goods industry (specifically for FMCG).
  • Experience in establishing and executing business goals and strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, develop creative solutions, and drive results.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving business growth and success.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Entrepreneurial skills.
  • A flair for sales.
