Job Description

As a Digital Solution Manager Purchasing & Travel in the Automotive Business at SKF, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of motion by overseeing IT systems and applications related to Purchasing and Travel solutions. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing robust system architectures, analyzing data structures, managing application lifecycles, optimizing business processes, enforcing governance frameworks, monitoring system performance, managing budgets, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and cross-functional IT teams. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement robust system architectures aligned with business requirements - Analyze and manage data structures to support business intelligence and reporting needs - Oversee the integration of various systems and applications for seamless data flow - Manage the lifecycle of applications, including deployment, maintenance, and upgrades - Evaluate and optimize business processes to improve efficiency - Establish and enforce governance frameworks, policies, and procedures - Monitor system performance and user satisfaction metrics - Manage budgets and resource allocation for IT systems Expectations: - Proficient understanding of purchasing processes - Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements - Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement - Comfortable working in a global, cross-functional environment - Willingness to learn new technologies and stay current with Automotive trends Requirements & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in information technology, Purchasing, Business Informatics, or a related field - Comprehensive analytical, communication, & problem-solving skills - Solid understanding of Solution Architecture, data management, integration strategies, and governance practices - Experience in performance management and budget oversight - Effective in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders - Familiarity with SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, and Amex GBT Neo - Experience with ITIL-based support processes and ticketing systems - 3+ years of experience supporting and developing applications - Good communication skills in English - Experience in project work or system implementation is a strong advantage What You'll Enjoy Working Here: - Engaging, innovative environment shaping transformative integration projects - Opportunities to guide strategic initiatives and direct digital transformation - A culture that values engaged problem-solving, continuous improvement, and ongoing professional development SKF is committed to diversity and believes in focusing on your experience, skills, and potential.
