Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Grooming & Analysis:
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to elicit, analyze, and refine detailed business requirements.
    •  Brainstorm and collaborate with Business owners to design End to End, scalable and future ready solutions.
    • Translate high-level business needs into comprehensive functional and non-functional requirements.
    • Expertise in creating functional / data flow diagrams.
    • Conduct in-depth analysis to understand current processes, identify pain points, and propose innovative solutions.
  • Provide specialized experience and insight into the application as required.User Story Detailing:
    • Develop clear, concise, and actionable user stories that articulate the 'what' and 'why' for development teams, ensuring a clear idea of what must be built and tested.
    • Define acceptance criteria and scenarios for each user story to ensure all functional and non-functional requirements are met.
    • Work with development and testing teams to ensure a shared understanding of user stories and their implications.
    • Contribute to the product backlog by helping to prioritize and refine user stories.
    • Review the test cases / scenarios with the business / product teams to ensure completeness and overall coverage for the end functionality.
  • Solution Designing:
    • Design robust, scalable, and efficient technical solutions that align with business objectives and architectural guidelines.
    • Work closely with architects, developers, and other technical teams to define the overall solution architecture.
    • Evaluate the suitability of technology solutions and articulate business case requirements for technology adoption.
    • Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance.
    • Understand the existing technology stack and the integration framework to visualize building solutions and workflows comprising of multiple applications working together.
  • Technical Expertise & Collaboration:
    • Act as a techno-functional expert, effectively communicating between business and technical teams.
    • Collaborate with other team members to develop prototypes and solutions.
    • Contribute to the overall delivery of required capacity to Business and Support Units.
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Project Execution & Support:
    • Assist in project planning, tracking, and ensuring timely delivery of features.
    • Effective stakeholder management and proactive approach to constantly monitor project delivery and mitigate the risks as and when encountered.
    • Provide support during testing phases, including user acceptance testing (UAT).
    • Own the application lifecycle from ideation to deployment and post-production support.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-8 years of experience in a techno-functional role within application development.
  • Proven experience in detailed requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation.
  • Strong experience in user story creation and refinement, including defining acceptance criteria.
  • Demonstrated ability in solution design comprising of the functionality spanning across two or more applications with deep integration workflows to be stitched between them. This would also need effective collaboration with multiple technology teams.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.

  • Proficiency in tools used for requirement management and user story mapping.
  • Familiarity with various technical domains and ability to quickly grasp new technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to facilitate workshops and discussions with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with workflow optimization and journey mapping is an advantage.
