Digital Marketing Team Lead

Job Overview:

The Digital Marketing Team Lead will oversee the planning, execution, and optimisation of digital marketing campaigns while managing a small team. This role requires strong leadership, an in-depth understanding of digital marketing channels, and the ability to inspire and deliver results in a competitive, student-focused market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Digital Marketing Team:

    Manage, mentor, and develop team members to deliver impactful campaigns aligned with business goals.
  • Campaign Strategy & Execution:

    Plan, launch, and optimise campaigns across social media, SEO, PPC, and email to drive traffic, generate leads, and increase brand presence.
  • Social Media Leadership:

    Direct content strategy and scheduling for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok, ensuring resonance with student audiences.
  • Content Creation & Coordination:

    Collaborate with creative teams to produce engaging blogs, videos, graphics, and other digital content.
  • SEO & SEM Management:

    Drive keyword strategies, optimise website content, and manage paid campaigns for maximum visibility and ROI.
  • Email Marketing:

    Design and monitor lead-nurturing campaigns to improve engagement and conversions.
  • Performance Tracking:

    Monitor KPIs, generate reports, and implement insights from analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and SEMrush.
  • Market & Competitor Research:

    Stay ahead of trends, assess competitor activity, and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Lead Generation:

    Develop initiatives to attract and convert high-quality leads effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 1 year in a team lead or managerial role.
  • Proven expertise in social media advertising, SEO, PPC, and content marketing.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media tools, and email marketing platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with a data-driven approach.
  • Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is an advantage.
