Shift: UK Shift (12.00 pm 9.00 pm IST)

Why This Role Matters

The Digital Marketing Administrative Assistant will support the marketing team by handling a wide range of hands-on tasks that take up significant time. With a very large website, a high volume of planned video content, and SEO as the primary driver of traffic and leads, this role ensures content and assets are accurately maintained, organised, and optimised - freeing the wider marketing team to focus on strategy, creative output, and growth.

Role & responsibilities

  • Upload & update website content (profiles, service pages, articles, campaign landing pages) in CMS.
  • Maintain taxonomy, tags, and content metadata; keep change log.
  • Ensure on-page SEO best practices across pages; fix broken links/redirects.
  • Manage YouTube channel: upload, schedule, captioning, metadata & playlists.
  • Organise, optimize and tag assets in Cloudinary / DAM; manage user permissions.
  • Coordinate with marketing to schedule publishes and archive obsolete assets.
  • Perform weekly audits (content, redirects, missing metadata) and report findings.

Preferred candidate profile

Must-have:

  • 1 to 4 years experience in CMS/content management (WordPress / Drupal / Contentful / Sitecore or similar).
  • Basic on-page SEO knowledge (meta tags, header tags, alt text, internal linking).
  • Practical experience with a DAM (Cloudinary or equivalent) or digital asset handling.
  • Experience uploading and optimizing YouTube videos (titles, descriptions, captions)
  • Comfortable working WFO in Pune, and proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Good written English (editing light copy / meta descriptions).

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with redirects, Search Console, Google Business Profile updates.
  • Familiarity with automation for uploads (CSV imports, REST APIs).
  • Basic familiarity with video captioning/transcription tools.

KPIs (indicative list of what success looks like in 90 days)

  • 1% CMS publish errors after checklist adoption.
  • All new uploads meet on-page SEO checklist 95% of the time.
  • Asset taxonomy completeness 95% for new uploads.
  • Weekly audit report delivered on time.
