Role Overview

Responsible for managing and growing the inbound travel business by designing, promoting, and delivering bespoke travel experiences. The role includes strategic planning, team management, client servicing, vendor relations, and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Business Development

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow inbound travel business from international markets.
  • Identify and establish partnerships with key international agents, suppliers, guides and other business channels.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and design product that cater to target audiences.

Operations Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end operations of inbound tours, including itinerary planning, bookings, and on-ground execution.
  • Ensure seamless coordination with suppliers, hotels, transporters, and local partners.
  • Manage budgets and ensure profitability for each tour program.

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients and agents.
  • Provide customized solutions and personalized service to meet client needs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with international agents and ensure consistent communication.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of operations staff and coordinators.
  • Provide regular training to enhance team skills and knowledge of destinations, itineraries, and trends.
  • Set performance targets and monitor team progress.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure the highest quality standards in service delivery.
  • Address client feedback and implement improvements where necessary.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure they meet service expectations.

Marketing & Promotion

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional material and campaigns for inbound tours.
  • Represent the company at international trade fairs, roadshows, and networking events to attract business.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of inbound tourism trends, markets, and destinations in UK, US, Canada and Far East Counties
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team management and leadership skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 1015 years of experience in inbound tourism, with at least 7 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record in handling high-value clients and international agents.
  • Experience in designing and managing complex tour itineraries.

  • Revenue growth and profitability from inbound tours.
