Job Description

Role Overview: As the DGM- Industry at our company, your primary objective will be to drive business growth and establish strategic partnerships within the Industry/ Commodities customers. Your role will involve identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities, expanding the client base, and positioning DP World as a preferred partner in the industry. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the deployment of Sub sector sales strategies and tactics, manage a team of Business Development Executives, and achieve revenue targets in coordination with Pre-Sales, BU sales, and Post Sales Team. - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the sub sector, understand their business objectives, challenges, and pain points, and provide customized logistics solutions to meet their specific requirements. - Prepare comprehensive proposals in response to client requirements, lead contract negotiations, and collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize agreements. - Work closely with internal teams such as operations, finance, marketing, and customer service to ensure seamless execution of business development strategies, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and exceed client expectations. - Drive the team to ensure CRM effectiveness, assist the marketing team in designing Customer Surveys, and collaborate with account managers to develop long-term account plans within the sector. - Maintain a sector scorecard and drive year-on-year client improvement on all parameters. - Develop a high-performance service culture, set OKRs with team members, identify training needs, and coach team members to raise the performance bar. Qualification Required: - Proven supply chain track record in the logistics industry with 10+ years of experience in India. - Key account experience, including developing and growing new key accounts within a specific sector. - Relevant logistics expertise within identified sub sectors like Commodities, with experience in executing strategic and tactical plans in a large sales environment. - Ability to design and implement solutions specific to the industry to solve customer problems. - Experience in supply chain across the entire logistics value chain, including Express, FTL transportation, warehousing, and Value-added services. - Experience in leading the development and delivery of sales personnel in a service industry.,
