DGM / AGM-Banking Operations

Seeking a thorough professional to lead the trade finance, forex, and export-import operations, ensuring seamless execution of all LC/BG transactions, adherence to regulatory frameworks (EDPMS/IDPMS), and optimal management of trade-related risks, working capital, driving operational excellence, compliance, and efficiency across domestic and international trade functions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Trade Finance Operations

Oversee end-to-end management of Letters of Credit (LCs) issuance, negotiation, confirmation, amendment, and settlement for both domestic and export transactions.

Manage Bank Guarantees (BGs for Inland and Foreign) – Bid, Performance, advance, and financial guarantees ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory norms.

Administer A2 Payments, EDPMS, and IDPMS reporting in line with RBI and FEMA guidelines.

Ensure timely realization of export proceeds and reconciliation of trade transactions through internal and external systems.

Negotiations with banks for LC confirmation charges, bank limits, forex rates, and derivative structures.

2. Forex & Derivative Management

Manage forex exposures arising from export-import transactions; evaluate and implement appropriate hedging strategies (forwards, options, swaps).

Monitor global currency trends and assess their potential impact on the company’s cash flows and profitability.

Ensure compliance with corporate policies and RBI guidelines on forex derivatives.

3. Governance, Risk & Compliance

Ensure compliance with RBI, FEMA, and other statutory requirements pertaining to trade finance operations.

Develop and implement robust internal controls, documentation standards, and audit frameworks.

MBA (Pref. Banking/Finance) with minimum 15 plus years of experience into banking operations.
