DevSecOps Engineer

You are being hired for the position of DevSecOps Engineer at digivantics in Bangalore on a Full-Time basis. As a skilled DevSecOps Engineer, your primary responsibility will involve integrating security practices into the DevOps pipeline. You will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining security measures, automating security processes, and ensuring compliance across development, deployment, and operational stages. Your collaborative efforts with development, operations, and security teams will be essential in delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing systems. In this role, your key responsibilities will include embedding security tools and practices in CI/CD pipelines to detect and mitigate vulnerabilities, implementing static and dynamic code analysis, vulnerability scanning, and container security checks. You will also be tasked with designing and implementing secure infrastructure using cloud services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ensuring configuration management meets security standards, automating security testing and monitoring processes, developing monitoring systems to detect anomalies and security breaches, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address security concerns, providing training on secure coding practices and DevSecOps tools, responding to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis, implementing preventive measures, maintaining and testing incident response plans, ensuring systems adhere to regulatory requirements and industry best practices, and conducting periodic security audits and assessments to maintain compliance. To qualify for this role, you are required to hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 2-5 years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or security engineering roles. Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps, experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes is necessary. You should also possess knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, automation tools like Terraform or Ansible, and familiarity with security tools like SAST, DAST, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners. Your skills in CI/CD, scripting languages, incident management, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), automation, DevSecOps, container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), security, compliance, Jenkins, CI/CD tools, security tools (SAST, DAST, SIEM, vulnerability scanners), automation tools (Terraform, Ansible), and others will be instrumental in excelling in this role at digivantics.,
