Devops Support Engineer

Job Summary:

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for automating, optimizing, and maintaining software delivery pipelines to ensure continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and efficient infrastructure management. This role bridges the gap between development and operations, enabling fast, reliable, and scalable software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain

  CI/CD pipelines

  for automated builds, testing, and deployment.
• Manage and optimize

  cloud infrastructure

  on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like

  Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation

  .
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using appropriate monitoring tools.
  
• Implement

  containerization and orchestration

  solutions (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to improve deployment efficiency and system reliability.
  
• Maintain version control and release management best practices using Git-based workflows.
  
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure quick resolution of incidents.
  
• Establish and maintain

  infrastructure-as-code (IaC)

  standards.
• Implement and maintain

  logging, monitoring, and alerting systems

  (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.).
• Ensure systems meet high standards of reliability, scalability, and security compliance.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in

  Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of experience as a

  DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or Cloud Engineer

  .
• Strong experience with

  CI/CD tools

  (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.).
• Proficiency in

  scripting languages

  such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
• Hands-on experience with

  cloud services

  (AWS EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, EKS, Azure DevOps, or GCP).
• Knowledge of

  containerization (Docker)

  and

  orchestration (Kubernetes)

  .
• Familiarity with

  infrastructure automation tools

  (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Experience with

  monitoring and logging tools

  (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
• Understanding of

  networking concepts, load balancing, and security practices

  .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as

  AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Google Professional DevOps Engineer

  .
• Experience with

  microservices architecture

  and

  service mesh

  (Istio, Linkerd).
• Exposure to

  serverless architectures

  .
• Understanding of

  Agile/Scrum methodologies

  .
• Familiarity with

  MLOps or DataOps

  processes.
