DevOps Support Engineer (Rotational Shift)

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and support deployment and release activities for applications and services.
Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and Kafka messaging systems.
Handle cloud infrastructure provisioning and management on AWS (Linux, Windows, EC2, etc.).
Use Rancher for container management and orchestration.
Work with Apigee API Gateway for API management and integration.
Analyze system logs and logs from Splunk for incident resolution and performance improvements.
Participate in rotational shift support.
Document processes, configurations, and incidents clearly and accurately.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding system status and issues.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in DevOps support
Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Rancher and Apigee.
Familiarity with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.
Experience with log management tools like Splunk.
Strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent communication and articulation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Willingness to work rotational shifts as per the specified timings.

Preferred Skills:

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
Knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments.
