Job Title: Mainframe Assembler Developer Experience: 4-8 years Location: [Hybrid] Job Description: We are hiring a Mainframe Assembler Developer for a top-tier MNC , offering opportunities to work on complex, mission-critical systems in a dynamic enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on skills in Assembler language , mainframe technologies , and system performance optimization. Key Responsibilities: Develop, debug, and optimize applications using Assembler language Work with mainframe systems including z/OS , MVS , and technologies like JCL, CICS, DB2 Use mainframe tools such as IPCS , XDC , and FILEAID to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues Integrate assembler modules with other languages like COBOL , Java , and PL/I Utilize performance monitoring tools like IBM RMF and OMEGAMON to tune system performance Apply knowledge of z/OS internals such as JES2 , SMS , and HSM Participate in system-level design reviews and recommend performance improvements Collaborate with cross-functional teams for application support and enhancements Required Skills: Hands-on experience in Assembler programming and debugging Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and components Proficiency in JCL, CICS, DB2 , and integration techniques Experience with performance monitoring tools (RMF, OMEGAMON) Familiarity with z/OS internals (JES2, SMS, HSM) is a plus Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Good to Have: Experience in large-scale enterprise systems Exposure to system migrations or legacy modernization projects Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 4+ years of relevant experience in mainframe development Apply Now: Interested candidates may apply via Naukri or send resumes to mani@coretek.io
