Job Description

Role Overview: You will have excellent exposure to the AWS ecosystem and services, with a solid understanding and experience in setting up and managing AWS infrastructure and services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, and Lambda. Your role will involve designing, building, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines in GitLab. You will deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications and infrastructure in AWS, manage infrastructure as code using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform, and lead or coordinate change management processes. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines in GitLab. - Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications and infrastructure in AWS, including EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, and Lambda. - Manage infrastructure as code using CloudFormation (required) or Terraform (desired). - Lead or coordinate change management processes, including planning, documentation, risk assessment, approvals, and post-change reviews. - Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployments and improve delivery. - Develop and maintain GitLab repositories, branching strategies, and merge policies. - Provide visibility into changes using dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools. - Ensure all deployments follow compliance, security, and audit requirements. - Experience with build and SCM tools like Maven, Gradle, Ant, Git, Jira, and SonarQube. - Solid knowledge of containerization concepts, Docker, Kubernetes, and various Kubernetes environments. - Good understanding of Monitoring/Observability tools such as CloudWatch, ELK stack, CloudTrail, Kibana, Grafana, and Prometheus. - Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. - Exposure to microservice architecture, API gateway, Active Directory, Blue/Green deployments, and Canary deployments. - Experience with serverless approaches using AWS Lambda. - Understanding of Agile principles and experience participating in scrums and agile processes. - Familiarity with ITIL-based change management frameworks and tools. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in cloud-native environments. - Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Adherence to ISMS policies and procedures. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in networking and network security (e.g., SSL/TLS certificates, VPN IPSec tunnels). - Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines to speed up software development and deployment process. - Knowledge of Monitoring/Observability tools and processes. - Familiarity with ITIL-based change management frameworks and tools. - Strong knowledge of DevOps best practices, automation, and version control. - Proven experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and AWS deployments. - Ability to estimate effort for assigned tasks, review code, and ensure the quality of code. - Follow modern agile-based development processes and DevOps pipelines. - Telemetry knowledge and familiarity with the Open Telemetry specs. - Shift Left Methodology knowledge.
