DevOps Lead

As a DevOps Lead, your role involves collaborating with software developers, quality assurance engineers, and IT professionals to ensure smooth deployment, automation, and management of software infrastructure. You will design and implement CI/CD pipelines for multiple software applications and environments, automate deployment processes to minimize manual intervention, and enhance system efficiency. Staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies is crucial to assess their potential impact and recommend adoption where relevant. Troubleshooting software infrastructure issues and working with the team to resolve them are key responsibilities. Additionally, you will lead the DevOps team, ensure transparent communication with customers, provide direction and assistance to team members, record and track team SLAs and workflows, and implement metrics-driven processes to maintain service quality. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and IT professionals to ensure smooth deployment and management of software infrastructure. - Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications and environments. - Automate deployment processes to minimize manual intervention and improve system efficiency. - Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies. - Troubleshoot software infrastructure issues and resolve them with the team. - Lead the DevOps team and ensure transparent communication with customers. - Provide direction and assistance to team members. - Record and track team SLAs and workflows. - Implement metrics-driven processes to ensure service quality. Qualifications Required: - Acquaintance with software development processes and methodologies. - Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. - Excellent scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Ruby. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. - Knowledge of security best practices and ability to implement security controls at the infrastructure level. - Experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix and Nagios. - Hands-on knowledge of Linux fundamentals, system administration, and performance tuning. - Good understanding of networking, routing, and switching. - Effective communication and documentation skills. - Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
