As a DevOps Engineer at our company, your role will involve managing infrastructure architecture and non-functional requirements across multiple projects. You will be responsible for owning infrastructure architecture and non-functional requirements for a set of projects, designing and integrating cloud architecture with cloud-native solutions, and implementing common infrastructure best practices focused on security, operational efficiency, and cost efficiency. Your expertise in microservices-based architecture, Kubernetes, Docker, and SecOps practices will be crucial in ensuring high standards in security, operational efficiency, and cost management. Key Responsibilities: - Owning infrastructure architecture and non-functional requirements for a set of projects - Designing and integrating cloud architecture with cloud-native solutions - Implementing common infrastructure best practices focused on security, operational efficiency, and cost efficiency - Demonstrating strong microservices-based architecture knowledge - Utilizing Kubernetes and Docker effectively - Understanding and implementing SecOps practices - Developing CI/CD pipelines for faster build with quality and security automation - Enabling observability embedded in the platform - Building and deploying cloud IAC in an AWS environment using tools like CrossPlane, Terraform, or CloudFormation Qualifications Required: - 2+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps - Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes) - Strong scripting and automation skills - Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD processes, particularly in Agile environments - Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, including deployment and management of infrastructure through IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) - Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Ansible and Kustomize In addition to the technical skills, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualities: - Good communicator with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical teams - Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills - Ability to learn new technologies and theories and apply them when necessary - Strong team player with the ability to prioritize work effectively and handle multiple tasks with critical deadlines - Exposure to Linux and Windows-based environments - Experience in CI/CD processes and Agile development - Knowledge of microservices architecture, observability best practices, and SecOps tools Please note that the above description is a summary of the role and responsibilities mentioned in the job description provided.
