DevOps Azure Engineer

Technical Environment:

• Azure: ARM Templates, Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, Azure Database for PostgreSQL

• Technology/Tools: Terraform, Kubernetes, Python, DBA

Required Skills and Experiences:

• Proficiency in IaC (Terraform and ARM Templates)

• Experience with Python for DevOps and CI/CD automation

• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Azure Database for PostgreSQL),

including schema design, data migration, and initialization scripting

• Familiarity with modern data store patterns and ability to redesign legacy schemas to fit scalable,

cloud-native architectures

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, producing results quickly and iteratively, with the

ability to work independently or collaboratively with cross-functional teams

• Willingness to work with internal team members and stakeholders in other time zones

• Intermediate-level skills in analytical tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or Power BI (complex

formulas, lookups, pivots, etc.)

• Bachelor’s/Advanced degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer

Science, Applied Math, Statistics, or a similar field of study

Duties to be Performed:

• Support the Senior Application Modernization Architect in implementing externalized state

management services for backend applications

• Collaborate with the Senior Application Modernization Architect and development teams to

understand application logic and state usage, and assist in defining and implementing appropriate data

schemas and storage mechanisms

• Contribute to infrastructure automation efforts, including the provisioning of external data services

and configuration of access control policies

• Assist in building and maintaining IaC templates and ensure consistency

Modernization:

• Deploy subset of data to new database infrastructure and establish initialization logic for database

tables

• Create initial data layer in application logic

• Redesign schemas and migrate logic to modern data stores (Azure Database for PostgreSQL or

other best-fit data stores)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• Viman Nagar, Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
