Devops-Assistant Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced DevOps and Cloud Manager to lead our organizations migration journey, manage cloud and on-premise systems, and ensure a smooth transition across our hybrid infrastructure. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background in both cloud and on-premise environments, who can implement a stable DevOps process with robust alerting and monitoring systems to enhance overall system availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the migration of existing systems and applications to cloud infrastructure while maintaining hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, security, and operations, to design and implement highly available, scalable, and reliable systems.

Establish and maintain a comprehensive DevOps process by implementing CI/CD pipelines, automating builds, deployments, and infrastructure provisioning.

Design, deploy, and manage monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact system availability or performance.

Manage configuration and change control, ensuring the integrity and consistency of infrastructure and applications across environments.

Implement and manage disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity across hybrid infrastructure.

Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, policies, and best practices across all environments.

Train and mentor DevOps and cloud teams, enhancing their skills and ensuring efficient collaboration.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).

5+yearsof experience in DevOps, Cloud Management, or a similar role, with hands-on experience in both on-premise and cloud environments. Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on-premise infrastructure management.

Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, CloudWatch) and strong knowledge of system logging and analysis.

Deepunderstanding of networking, security, and system architecture in both cloud and on-premise environments.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and methodical approach to addressing technical issues.

Ability to work collaboratively with various technical and non-technical teams, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments and large-scale

migrations.

Relevant certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, etc.).

Experience with microservices architecture, serverless computing, and modern cloud-native technologies.
