Devops Architect

DevOps Architect JD Earlier roles & experience Experienced DevOps Architect with a demonstrated history of consulting and delivering DevOps propositions for medium and large-scale programs , in the information technology and services industry for telco domains.

Has experience of supporting DevOps proposition building / presales 10+ years of IT experience.

Experience in DevOps Presales role for at least one year and DevOps consulting/architect role in delivery for 3+ years.

Providing solutions around DevOps Process , Tools and Operations Technical skills Must Have Technical skills: AWS DevOps or Azure DevOps , Kubernetes , Github , Docker , Jenkins , infrastructure automation tools (Ansible , Chef , Puppet).

Complete knowledge of DevOps tools like Docker , Git , Puppet , and Jenkins Knowledge of scripting languages like Python , JavaScript , and HTML Must have strong expertise in operating Linux/Unix environments and scripting languages Must possess excellent automation skills and the ability to drive initiatives to automate processes.

Building strong cross-functional leadership skills and working together with the operations and engineering teams to make sure that systems are scalable and secure.

Excellent knowledge of software development and software testing methodologies along with configuration management practices in Unix and Linux-based environment.

Possess sound knowledge of cloud-based environments.

Experience in handling automated deployment CI/CD tools.

Ability to review deployment and delivery pipelines i.e. , implement initiatives to minimize chances of failure , identify bottlenecks and troubleshoot issues.

Previous experience in implementing continuous delivery and DevOps solutions.

Must possess expertise in any of the coding languages depending on the nature of the job.

Ability to create a reference architecture for DevOps build & release automation implementation Ability to analyze technical DevOps operations and create propositions to automate the DevOps process using the right tools/accelerators and techniques Design/Implement release orchestration solutions for medium or large sized projects Developing appropriate DevOps channels

Assess DevOps maturity levels and provide recommendations to streamline all DevOps practices

Analyze technical DevOps operations and create propositions to automate the DevOps process using the right tools and techniques Understand and able to apply DevOps accelerators , overlaying on the DevOps architecture understanding and earlier experience and incorporate in the customer proposition (DevOps Solutions) to create a compelling pitch.
