Devops Architect

Role Overview

This role acts as a bridge between development and operations teams, focusing on automation, infrastructure, security, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement DevOps pipelines (CI/CD) using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Define and drive DevOps strategy across development, QA, and operations teams.
• Architect cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Promote containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system health and performance with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance across DevOps processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical strategies with business goals.
• Lead and mentor DevOps engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and operational issues in complex environments.

Key Skills Required:

1. Technical Skills:

• CI/CD Tools

  : Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Azure DevOps, etc.

• Cloud Platforms

  : AWS, Azure, GCP architecture and services.

• IaC Tools

  : Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Pulumi.

• Containers & Orchestration

  : Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.

• Monitoring & Logging

  : Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, New Relic.

• Scripting Languages

  : Bash, Python, Go, or PowerShell.

• Version Control

  : Git, GitHub, Bitbucket.

• Security & Compliance

  : DevSecOps integration, vulnerability scanning, secrets management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).

2. Architecture & Strategy:

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud strategies.
• Knowledge of service meshes (e.g., Istio) is a plus.
• Expertise in designing scalable, resilient systems.
