About the Role

DevOps and Cloud Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud environments, while working closely with development and operations teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and reliability
  • Manage container orchestration platforms including Kubernetes and Docker Swarm
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployment and performance tuning
  • Ensure adherence to security best practices in cloud and DevOps workflows
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for systems and processes


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or similar roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack
  • Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance standards
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or equivalent
  • Experience with GitOps, microservices, or serverless architecture
