Development Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Development Manager to lead the development, maintenance, and support of our Wealth Banking platform. This role is critical in delivering robust, secure, and scalable digital solutions that meet the needs of high-net-worth clients, while ensuring compliance, performance, and innovation across our Wealth suite. You will lead cross-functional teams responsible for development and maintenance of Wealth Management modules, including investment services, portfolio management, financial planning, and client advisory tools. You will drive solution architecture and delivery aligned with client expectations, regulatory standards, and evolving wealth banking trends. You will oversee the execution of L2/L3 support activities, incident response, and service requests specific to wealth banking. You will ensure regulatory compliance related to AML, KYC, FATCA, CRS, and MiFID II in all software releases. You will collaborate with product managers, DevOps, and business analysts to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements. You will champion platform modernization efforts including microservices adoption, API integration, and cloud-native deployment. You will monitor system health and performance; optimize for scalability, personalization, and real-time analytics. You will mentor engineering teams and drive a culture of quality, innovation, and client-focused delivery. SKILLS You should have 14+ years of experience in software development or banking technology with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity. You should have strong domain expertise in Wealth Management, including investment products, advisory services, and client onboarding. You should have proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and data-intensive systems. You should have an experience working with WealthTech platforms or modules such as CRM, risk profiling, portfolio analytics, and financial planning tools. You should have a familiarity with private banking compliance and reporting requirements. You should have a demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams and manage stakeholder expectations. You should have an experience with CI/CD, containerization, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred.
