Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide

    technical support

    for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and standard business applications.
  • Troubleshoot

    hardware and software issues

    both in person and remotely.
  • Manage and resolve

    tickets

    within SLA timelines using IT service management tools.
  • Set up and support

    user accounts, email configurations, and access permissions

    (Active Directory, Office 365, etc.).
  • Assist in

    network troubleshooting

    , including LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
  • Perform

    system upgrades

    , patch management, and antivirus maintenance.
  • Provide

    onboarding IT setup

    for new employees (systems, access, devices).
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and track equipment issuance.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in

    Computer Science, Information Technology

    , or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in

    desktop support, IT helpdesk

    , or system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of

    Windows 10/11

    , MS Office, and basic networking concepts.
  • Experience with

    Active Directory, Office 365, and remote desktop tools

    .
  • Familiarity with

    IT asset management

    and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Certifications such as

    CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCP, or ITIL Foundation

    are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic understanding of

    network devices

    (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Experience with

    endpoint security solutions

    and

    data backup tools

  • Exposure to

    virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)

    or cloud environments.
