Job Description : We are looking for a highly skilled SAP Technical ABAP Consultant to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in ABAP development and a deep understanding of SD/MM domain. The role involves developing ABAP objects, handling technical design documentation, and supporting system analysis, design, development, and implementation. Desired Skills and Experience : Experience : - 3 to 9 years of hands-on experience in ABAP development. - Working experience in SD (Sales and Distribution) and MM (Materials Management) modules. Technical Skills : - Strong expertise in ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, Classical and Interactive Reports using ALV, Dialog Programming. - Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Database Design. - Knowledge of Smartforms, SAP Scripts, Data Migration, and Data Uploads using BDC and LSMW. - Expertise in ABAP Debugging, Performance Tools, Runtime Analysis, SQL Trace. - Experience in Remote Function Calls (RFC), Reports, Batch Scheduling. Additional Skills : - Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time. - Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with technical and functional teams. - Proficiency in building Technical Design Documentation, Test Scripts, and maintaining RICEFW matrices. - Ability to work independently and in teams, handling complex issues and providing solutions. Domain Experience : - Solid understanding and experience in working within the SD/MM functional domain. The role will primarily involve building ABAP objects related to these domains. Roles and Responsibilities : Development : - Develop ABAP programs, reports, and objects within the SD/MM domain. - Work with Data Dictionary, Smartforms, and ABAP workbench to deliver technical solutions. Technical Expertise : - Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions. - Provide support for system analysis, design, development, and implementation. Testing and Documentation : - Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and other testing tools for ABAP programs. - Create and maintain technical documentation, including Test Scripts and RICEFW matrices. Performance Tuning and Debugging : - Utilize ABAP Debugging, performance tools, and runtime analysis to optimize the system performance. Support : - Assist in Data Migration and System Integration tasks. - Provide operational support and troubleshooting during and after deployment. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - SAP Certification in ABAP is preferred.
