Desktop Support Engineer L2

As a Network Administrator, your role will involve maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments. This includes managing systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations. You will be responsible for performing system formatting, recovery operations, and data backups as necessary to ensure data, software, and hardware protection. Coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures will also be part of your responsibilities. Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems will be a key aspect of your daily tasks. In case of faulty network hardware components, you will be required to replace them. Monitoring network performance, configuring virus protection software, and email applications, and conferring with network users to solve system problems are also part of your duties. Operating master consoles to monitor network and computer system performance, coordinating computer network access, and installing and configuring computer systems will be essential. Additionally, you will need to respond to users" IT support requests, provide technical support on-site or via remote-access systems, and address hardware malfunctions, software issues, and networking problems efficiently. Your role will also involve tracking and managing IT asset records, requiring good knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11, Linux, and other relevant operating systems. A minimum of 2-7 years of experience and a relevant Graduation/Bachelor's degree are mandatory for this position. You should possess a strong understanding of network infrastructure and hardware, be able to troubleshoot complex issues, and have knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols. The ideal candidate will be information-focused, deadline-driven, a good problem solver, and willing to take on new challenges. You should be able to visualize solutions, provide detailed information for hardware and software selection, and quickly learn new technologies using available resources. Strong time management, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are also required.
