Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer L2
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer L2 to provide advanced technical support for end-users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide second-level support for desktop and laptop issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications.
- Assist with user account management and permissions.
- Document and track support requests using ticketing systems.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues.
- Train and mentor junior support staff as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in desktop support or IT support roles.
- Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and remote support tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified) are a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with occasional on-call responsibilities.
- May require lifting and moving computer equipment.
