Desktop Support Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site and remote technical support for our clients. The role involves handling system installations, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, installing and configuring laptops and operating systems, and managing peripheral devices. This position also requires hands-on field work, including CCTV and biometric device installation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site and remote desktop support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and other applications.
• Perform CCTV camera installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Install and maintain biometric attendance systems and ensure smooth functionality.
• Handle system upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance of IT infrastructure.
• Set up and configure printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
• Respond to and resolve support requests from users in a timely manner.
• Perform routine checks, preventive maintenance, and ensure security compliance.
• Document all service requests, resolutions, and maintain asset records.
• Travel to client sites as required for installations and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or IT Support Technician.
• Hands-on experience with desktop/laptop hardware installation and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems installation and configuration.
• Experience with CCTV and biometric device installation is mandatory.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, IP configuration).
• Ability to work independently and manage field service assignments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for on-site support.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
