Desktop Support Engineer

Job Title L-1 Desktop Engineer Company GIBS (IT Solutions) Location Khan Market, New Delhi Job Description The L-1 Desktop Engineer will provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, and workplace IT infrastructure at GIBS and its client sites. The position requires troubleshooting user issues, installing hardware/software, and ensuring smooth IT operations under supervision. Key Responsibilities ● Respond promptly to end-user desktop support requests, resolving hardware and software issues. ● Install, configure, and upgrade desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices. ● Assist with basic network troubleshooting, printer setup, and user account management. ● Document problem resolution and maintain records of service requests. ● Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support engineers. Qualifications ● ● ● ● ● Diploma or a Graduate in IT/Computer Science or equivalent technical field. 0-2 years relevant experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles. Working knowledge of Windows OS, Office applications, and basic networking. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team and adapt to fast-paced environments.
