Designer

Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Packaging Designer to join our team in the packaging manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing innovative, functional, and sustainable packaging solutions for flexible and rigid packaging products that meet client needs, branding objectives, and production capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Design structural and graphic packaging for products across FMCG, food, pharma, and industrial categories. Develop 2D/3D mockups, deadlines, and prototypes for customer presentations and internal reviews. Work closely with the marketing, production, and sales teams to understand requirements and incorporate feedback into designs. Ensure designs are print-ready and compliant with printing techniques like rotogravure, flexography, digital, etc. Stay updated with trends in materials, design aesthetics, and sustainable packaging practices. Coordinate with vendors, printers, and suppliers to ensure production feasibility and material optimization. Maintain a digital design library and project archive of all past designs, versions, and assets. Participate in client meetings and brainstorming sessions to present ideas and receive feedback. Ensure packaging design complies with legal, regulatory, and brand guidelines. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and 3D design tools (e.g., ArtiosCAD, Esko, SolidWorks). Solid understanding of packaging materials (plastic films, paper, foils, laminates, etc.). Familiarity with printing and converting processes used in flexible and rigid packaging. Strong creative and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Attention to detail and time management. Preferred: Prior experience working in a packaging company or design agency with packaging clients. Understanding of sustainable and recyclable packaging solutions. Knowledge of consumer behavior and shelf impact considerations in packaging.
