At least 12-15 years’ experience in Product Design, with leadership experience.Preferred:
Expert knowledge in PLM with tool experience, Siemens NX.Essential Functions
Hands on working knowledge of Siemens NX 3D CAD software & Team Centre.Hands on experience in New Product Design & Development (NPI/NPD) of electro-mechanical products.Experience In Product Concept Development From The Specification Requirements.
People leadership & technical leadership guidance to the team exposure is a must.Good knowledge in diecasting, plastics & sheet metal component design & development.Good Knowledge on the Seal designs, IP ratings and rubber seal materials.Good knowledge on GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, dimensions, and structural analysis.Impeccable attention to design detail.Having experience in connector design will be added advantage.Knowledge on electrical engineering & contacts/terminals will be added advantage.Good knowledge on material selection for the parts based on application.Have exposure on the Program Management skills on running a full-fledged NPD project.Sound knowledge in project transfer from Design to manufacturing.Must have experience in working with Global teams and communicating with them technically.Good knowledge on GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, dimensions, and structural analysis.He/she shall have the strong basics of mechanical engineering with knowledge on hand calculations, knowledge on IP sealing design.Knowledge on the Engineering Change Notification process for design changes.2 of 2Ensure design of components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards.Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to change.Good Reasons To Get Started At HARTING:
