Design Manager - MEP

About the Role

Responsible for providing MEP design inputs, reviewing and validating HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection system designs, ensuring code compliance and coordination with other disciplines, and granting technical approval of construction-ready drawings, specifications, and material submittals. 1. Provide MEP Design Inputs during concept and schematic stages in coordination with architectural and structural teams.

• Review and validate MEP system designs (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting) for technical accuracy and code compliance.
• Check and approve load calculations, system sizing, equipment selection, and routing layouts.
• Conduct design coordination and clash detection using CAD to ensure multidisciplinary integration.
• Verify compliance with local authority regulations, international codes as per norms / standards and client specifications.
• Approve IFC drawings, design documents, and material submittals for execution.
• Provide technical clarifications and support during tendering and execution phases.
• Participate in value engineering, energy efficiency reviews, and sustainability assessments.
• Ensure proper documentation, design logs, and record-keeping for all design-related approvals.
• Coordinate with Architects, Associates, contractors, and clients for design finalization and approvals. Preferred Experience:
• Experience working with consultants or EPC firms.
• Familiarity with sustainable/green building practices and energy modelling.
• Exposure to MEP design in high-rise buildings, hospitals, hotels, or industrial plants.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
