Job Description

Responsibilities

Lead the design and coordination of all electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and extra-low voltage (ELV) systems like fire alarms and security.
Oversee and technically review project deliverables, ensuring designs are integrated with other MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and architectural systems.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and on-budget project completion.
Provide technical support to project teams, conduct site visits, and resolve design issues during construction.
Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure cohesive and efficient designs.
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety standards, and local authority regulations.
Conduct quality control checks and inspections to ensure proper installation and functionality of electrical systems.
Support value engineering efforts and ensure client design preferences are met.
Assist in preparing tender documents, specifications, and bills of quantities (BOQs).
Supervise and mentor junior electrical engineers and promote design best practices.
