Head of Design

This is more than a leadership role it's your opportunity to influence the future of design in the pressure equipment industry.

Qualification Must-Haves:

• M.E. / M.Tech in Mechanical Design or mechanical stream
  
• 10–20 Years of Core Industry Experience
  
• Must Have Led a Team of 7+ Engineers
  

Technical Expertise Required:

• Proven hands-on experience in

  designing Pressure Vessels

  such as

  Reactors, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Tanks, and Boilers

  
  
• Expertise in

  ASME Section VIII Div 1 & 2

  ,

  DIN

  , and other global standards (API, PED, etc.)
  
• Strong command over design tools:

  PV Elite

  ,

  AutoCAD

  ,

  SolidWorks

  ,

  ANSYS

  & FEA
  
• In-depth knowledge of

  welding, materials, fabrication, and testing processes

  
  

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Building

• Mentor, lead and grow a team of skilled design engineers
  
• Align team efforts with project timelines and company vision
  
• Drive a culture of ownership, innovation, and excellence
  

Design & Innovation

• Lead all pressure vessel designs from concept to completion
  
• Optimize for safety, manufacturability, cost, and performance
  
• Champion 3D modeling, simulation, and digital transformation
  

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure all designs comply with ASME, API, PED, DIN, and client specs
  
• Review and validate design calculations and drawings
  
• Stay ahead of code revisions, industry best practices, and innovations
