Design Engineer

Job Title: Design Engineer Location: Ahmadabad Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and creative Design Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing industrial components, systems, and machinery using CAD software, primarily SolidWorks. The role requires ensuring product quality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency throughout the design lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with production, R&D, and quality teams to optimize designs for manufacturability and performance. Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and detailed technical documentation. Analyze product design feasibility, select appropriate materials, and recommend production methods. Participate in prototype development, testing, and design validation processes. Implement design improvements based on customer feedback and field data analysis. Ensure designs comply with relevant safety, quality, and industrial standards. Support manufacturing teams during production setup and troubleshoot design-related issues. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE) or Diploma in relevant field. 2-3 years of relevant experience in design engineering. Skills Required: Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes. Experience with industrial equipment, compressors, or mechanical product design is preferred. Excellent analytical thinking, creativity, and teamwork abilities. Compensation: Competitive salary
