Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Junior Design Engineer who is eager to learn, proactive in executing assigned tasks, and committed to quality. The ideal candidate will support the design and development team by carrying out allocated activities, maintaining organized documentation, and contributing to product improvement with a strong foundation in DFM and CAD software.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete allocated design activities as per the target timeline with quality.

Maintain proper folder management and documentation practices according to company policy.

Track and record all project-related activities using standardized tracking sheets.

Provide support in creating 2D/3D models, drawings, and basic design documentation.

Assist in concept development and feasibility studies under the guidance of senior engineers.

Coordinate with team members to ensure design deliverables are met on time.

Apply basic knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) principles and CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) in daily tasks.

Participate in daily stand-up meetings and project reviews.

Continuously learn and adapt to new design techniques, tools, and industry standards.

Maintain clear and effective communication with team leads and peers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.

0–2 years of experience in a design or engineering support role (freshers are welcome).

Basic proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.

Understanding of DFM principles and manufacturing processes is a plus.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to organize work, track progress, and meet deadlines.

Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and contribute to team success.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
