Business Development Executive – Mid-Level Management

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and expanding our customer base. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a strong client-focused approach, and the ability to manage the entire sales process from prospecting to conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take the lead in generating new business opportunities beyond existing clients.
• Conduct field visits to prospective companies and build strong professional relationships.
• Follow up with potential clients consistently until successful lead conversion.
• Maintain and update client data, leads, and follow-ups using CRM software (ERPNext).
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and business reports.
• Provide insights into market trends, competitor activities, and new business strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or any discipline (non-mechanical candidates with strong business acumen are also welcome).
• Prior experience in Business Development / Sales & Marketing / Client Relationship Management is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in Tamil & English (fluency required). Knowledge of additional languages will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation abilities, and a client-focused mindset.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet targets.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
