Design Engineer – Multigauging / Fixture / Automation / SPM

Qualification : DME / BE Mechanical
Experience : Minimum 3 - 4 years’ Experience.
Experience in Relevant Industry i.e. Multigauging Manufacturing Gauges,Fixtures, Special Purpose Machine, or Metrology Industry).

Soft skills :

Pro E- wildfire, Solid Edge, Solid Work, Autodesk inventor, Auto Cad, MS Office.

Job Summary :

• Skills Required: Prepare the Conceptual 3D and 2D Drawings for DAP approval using Autodesk Inventor 2017 and AutoCAD 2010.
• Use specialized software to create models and drawing of products.
• Research new material and methods of development.
• Organize and maintain existing engineering records.
• Construct prototypes and confirm designs with design / purchasing team.
• Perform physical testing on engineering prototypes.
• Ensure Components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards.
• Familiarity with Customize gauge, Multigauging, fixture, SPM, Automation.
• Knowledge of GD & T.

Personal skills :

• Excellent communication & interpersonal Skills, Role involves working closing with Design partners, Sourcing partners.
• Strong technical background and drive towards solutions. - Solution minded and able to see and develop the bigger picture. - Decisive and self-initiating - Result focused and a “can do” spirit - Ability to influence without power.
