Design Engineer - Manufacturing Industry - Ahmedabad

Job Responsibilities:

1. Design & Development:

- Develop innovative designs for industrial blowers, fans, and related components using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).

- Create detailed 2D and 3D models, assembly drawings, and manufacturing blueprints.

- Ensure designs comply with industry standards (e.g., AMCA, ISO).

2. Technical Analysis:

- Perform airflow, pressure, and vibration calculations for blower and fan systems.

- Conduct material selection based on application requirements (e.g., high-temperature, corrosion resistance).

3. Prototyping & Testing:

- Oversee prototype development and conduct performance testing for new products.

- Analyze test results and implement necessary design changes to meet client specifications.

4. Collaboration & Communication:

- Work closely with production, quality, and sales teams to ensure designs are cost effective and feasible for manufacturing.

- Provide technical support to clients during project discussions and after-sales services.

5. Documentation & Standards:

- Maintain updated design documentation, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and revision histories.

- Ensure all designs adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Key Skills & Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

- Experience: 2-5 years in industrial blower or fan design (preferred).

- Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent).

- Knowledge of airflow dynamics, thermodynamics, and material properties.

- Familiarity with AMCA standards and industrial ventilation systems.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Team player with excellent communication abilities.
