Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design robotic systems and automation solutions, including 3D models, assembly, and component drawings using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools
• Prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOM); select materials and standard components (e.g., motors, sensors, actuators, fasteners)
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and project teams to ensure feasibility and timely delivery
• Optimize existing designs for enhanced performance, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency
• Support assembly teams by clarifying drawings and resolving design issues during fabrication and commissioning
• Maintain version-controlled design records and technical documentation

Required Skills

• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Strong grasp of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Knowledge of robotic components (motors, drives, sensors, actuators) and electromechanical systems
• Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, sheet metal, machining, fabrication, and material selection
• Capable of creating 2D/3D drawings, assemblies, and exploded views

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automobile, or Production Engineering
• 1–2 years of experience in design and development, preferably in robotics, automation, or special-purpose machines (SPMs)

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
