Job Description

Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design of Reinforced Soil Structures in accordance with Indian & International standards
Develop and review detailed project drawings
Evaluate geotechnical investigation reports to assess soil conditions and propose suitable ground improvement techniques
Apply knowledge of geosynthetic materials to implement hybrid reinforced soil systems
Prepare comprehensive technical reports and project-specific documentation
Coordinate with draughtsmen to guide the preparation of engineering drawings.
Create Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for the assigned projects
Maintain effective communication with clients to align deliverables with project objectives
Conduct site visits and deliver presentations for source approval from the concerned authority
Coordinate with the consultant to seek approval of design files, construction drawings, etc.
Document project outcomes through detailed case studies upon completion
Training of junior engineers & draughtsmen

Required Skills and Competencies:

Solid foundation in geotechnical engineering principles
Proficiency in engineering and design software, such as Slide, MSEW, ReSSA, etc
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication
Ability to maintain positive client relationships
