Design Engineer

Create the engineering design concept/philosophy definition. Evaluate and

apply standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform engineering

assignments. Reviews and get approval from Customer / project team.

• Provide technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities.

• Creates work plans and cost estimates for work in own area of responsibility

and proactively manages his/her work to deliver the agreed dates.

• Utilize standard processes and tools like SolidWorks, Catia V5, Autocad

Promote the use of the libraries, as well proposing the new Solutions.

• Responsible for :-

1. Meeting customer for technical discussion.

2. Making layout

3. Designing mechanical equipments

4. Hand calculations on cycle time, structure steel validation of selected

member, throught put calculation.

5. Cycle time chart Preparation

6. Preparing DAP documents and taking approval from customer

7. Preparing 2D manufacturing dwg using GD&T symblos.

8. Quality check of 2D drawing with respective mating parts.

9. Preparing Bill of material.

10. Selction of Boughtout parts like Gear, reack, bearings, Pneumatic items,

Motors, gearbox, clamps, LM rails, shaft ect..

11. Supporting projects team for instaltion and comissioning

12. Prove out the designed equipment to work satisfactory as requirment of

customer.
