Flexibility to work in different time zones to support business Supports and enforces program specific milestone approvals Supporting CAD-based packaging & interface check and Physical Design Verification (DV) testing to support Engineering Sign-Off Support launch (both onsite & offsite) whenever it s required Support homologation / regulatory testing at test locations like ARAI, NATRIP etc. Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Production Engineeirng with 4-7 years of experience in Lighting system in an OEM / tier 1 supplier with hands on design and releaes experience in lighting commodities like head lamp, DRL, foHands on Design and Release Experience in lighting system (Head lamp, DRL, rear tail lamp, fog lamp etc) either in a OEM or Tier 1 lighting supplier.- Hands on experience with structured problem solving techniques, Engineering Change implementation process, DFMEA/DVP, FMA, GD&T CAE, Mould Flow, CATIA, Tool design Abreast of emerging technologies in lighting system Expertise in Design & PDM tools like 3DX, CATIA Knowledge in auto electronics system and lighting modules pertaining Experience in cost estimation for lighting system Knowledge in lighting optics Experience in Worst Case Circuit Analysis, SPEOS, lighting related regulatory requirements Demonstrated ability to lead the issue resolution process. Very Good Skills in Catia V5 / UG NX - Surface, Solid Modeling & Drafting. Experience in Style Surface Feasibility & Analysis Checking Draft, Tooling Feasibility, ECE R24 Regulation Evaluation, creating concept proposals Packaging Study with surrounding parts, Benchmarking Study and Analysis. Should have experience in DFx ( Design for Mfg., assembly & Serviceability) Knowledge in tooling, fixings, Materials, GD & T, Stack up DFMEA, DVP etc. will be preferable Should be excellent in Interior / Exterior Product Design & Development -Trims - Pillar Trims, Soft Trims, Headliner, Carpets, Front & Rear Bumper systems, Grill, Energy Absorber, Claddings, Wheel arch Liners etc.
