Design Engineer

Position : Design Engineer - R & D

Qualification : Advanced Diploma in die & mould / Diploma in Tool & die manufacturing from Indo-Swiss Training Centre (ISTC).

Experience : 0-2 Years

Job Description :

• Designing of Sheet Metal Single stage Tooling like Blanking, Bending, etc.
• Designing of Simple Moulds i.e. single cavity without slider.
• Designing / Drafting of Child parts for new development.
• Designing / Drafting of Assembled / Finished Products.
• Designing of Machine Spares, gauges, jigs and fixtures.
• Initial Part Detailing (Drawings) for Child parts and Finished Product.
• Assist Sr. Designers with Tool Designing of Press Tools and Moulds.

Skills Required :

• Engineering Drawing: First angle, Third angle, Dimensioning & Tolerance.
• Instrument Knowledge of Vernier Caliper, Micrometer.
• Types of machining process: Conventional – Lathe, Milling, Grinding, Drilling, Hexa. Non-Conventional – EDM, EDM Drilling, Laser Cutting, Water Jet Cutting.
• Knowledge of design software like Pro-E, Solid Works or Creo.
• Basic Knowledge of Plastic Manufacturing: Moulds, Types of Gates, Types of Runners.
• Ability to design / draft a child part component.
• Knowledge of material properties under stress like malleability, ductility, creep, elasticity.
• Progressive tool designing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
